[from Muddy Prints, Water Shine]
Plain Sinking
The bright red shoes
the bio-geared soles
rock me cheerily along a paved surface
a boat bucking seas
a hey a nonny the path
aha a pond draws me across green
to smutty white
my blunder my slide
an audience of young brown frogs cheeping
ten now thirty
spring and plash down
at my red boats commandeering
